The Sugie Lane Foundation exists to bridge the gap for women and families impacted by domestic violence. We are a small, community-funded nonprofit focused on connection, advocacy, and safety-focused support, working alongside law enforcement, shelters, and trusted community partners during critical moments.

What We Offer:

Limited Emergency Support (Case-by-Case): In these situations, and based on available resources, the foundation may assist with short-term emergency needs such as temporary transportation or safe placement following a law enforcement or crisis-related event. These situations are handled on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed services. These situations are limited and depend on capacity at the time of the request.

Safe transportation or placement with a shelter or trusted loved one, when available.

Safety-focused guidance and connection to trusted resources.

Our advocacy work focuses on awareness, referrals, and community coordination to support long-term change.
What We’re Not Able to Provide:

Because we are not government-funded and operate on limited resources, we are unable to assist with ongoing financial support, including:

Utility bills or rent payments

Car repairs or car purchases

or other non-crisis needs
However, we will work to connect you with organizations in your area that do offer those services. If you're not sure where to start, reach out — we’ll do our best to guide you.
